The Byre is lovey inside with a nice atmosphere and fab play area. The food in the Bothy is a bit pricey. Having also ate in the bar, the food wasn\'t up to much. My salad was dripping in oil - yuk and my toddlers \'fish goujons\' was a huge deep fried fillet and very greasy and each of us at our table received something slightly different to what we had ordered!
Service not great either.

I have looked at all the reviews of past and present customers The Byre, EK is a fab place what are you all on? its value for money and the staff are just young and learning didnt you at one time?
The Managers are very nice !

the first time we were in the byre was about a year ago. The food was awful. We decided this weekend to try it again. The staff were very helpful and friendly.The food we ordered looked good, scampie and beer battered fish. We didn't feel too good after finishing our meal and later on I was very sick my husband still felt ill the next morning. I think the byre is a nice place to have a drink but not for food. We wont be back.

The Cricklewood

Having booked the Cricklewood Hotel for a joint family birthday the whole evening was spoilt by waiting for 1hour and 45 mins just for the starters and then receiving uncooked chicken in 3 of the plates in a party of 10 where one lady was 85 and in poor health and another several months pregnant.

Unless you have money to burn,time to waste and risk your health and life I would certainly avoid!!

This restaurant is fantastic and has really good,authentic food at great prices. The staff are very polite, the service is astounding and I have never felt the need to go anywhere else for my Chinese.
